Good morning, afternoon, or evening, or maybe middle of the night, or perhaps very very early – just any time you are reading this post:
Now as read you these words imagine this:
Wherever you are, whatever you are reading this on, whoever you are with – I am by your side – I am in your head – you and I are together reading these words together.
I sense your questions, I feel your slight unease, and I hear the infinitesimal change in your breathing and heartbeat. That’s okay. That makes it real.
Can you sense that I mean no harm in telling you this? Would you believe me when I say that no matter how your read these words … I love you? Will you share your reaction with me willingly? May we whisper to each other? Can we share what I meant by writing this phrase that way … that sentence this way … that one word and what I meant … what I was trying to invite … illustrate … have you find … would love you to make your own?
And as I see your eyes and brain and heart pulling or pushing, as I sense your joy or your confusion, as I ride the seconds or minutes or days with you – do you sense my love?
Because you chose these words – my words, this blog – my blog. You chose to give me this time and this place. You gave me these few moments together as you scan – or ponder – or are interrupted – in this time together.
You chose my words!
You chose to read these words. Your retina and brain are receiving the images from this screen – these little marks. And through my brain … to these little marks … to your retina and your brain … I Am In You. Through these marks I am in your heart. I am now a part of you. You allowed. You chose. You let me in. You chose to let me in! And I chose to be with you.
Through these marks – I am now part of you. Unless you kick me out.
And you can choose that as well.
But would you mind if I stayed with you? Would you mind if my words remained in you? Became part of you? That you made these words your own words, in your own way, that you allowed Me To Be With You?
Because you cannot piss me off. You are physically, mentally, spiritually, and every other way incapable of pissing me off. You chose me. You chose these words. You allowed and invited these words into your head and your heart. These words Are Me! I Am these words.
You invited Me into your eyes, your retina, your brain and your soul. And both of us are changed forever! We are these words and I am yours. I become your words just as yours become mine.
Where is the Law that embraces that wonder of wonders?
Tell me how that all hangs together and I will make your pupils boogie the boogie of all Boogies!
Because I am nestling in your brain and heart and every single cell!
Rocking and rolling in wonder! Our wonder!
I am seeing little tiny bulbs illumine!
I am part of Your light show!
I Am and You Are
Have I told you that I love You?
”Jesus said: “Listen to another parable. There was a landowner who planted a vineyard, put a fence around it, dug a wine press in it, and built a watchtower. Then he leased it to tenants and went to another country. When the harvest time had come, he sent his slaves to the tenants to collect his produce. But the tenants seized his slaves and beat one, killed another, and stoned another. Again he sent other slaves, more than the first; and they treated them in the same way. Finally he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ But when the tenants saw the son, they said to themselves, ‘This is the heir; come, let us kill him and get his inheritance.” So they seized him, threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him. Now when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?” They said to him, “He will put those wretches to a miserable death, and lease the vineyard to other tenants who will give him the produce at the harvest time.” Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the scriptures: ‘The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; this was the Lord’s doing, and it is amazing in our eyes’? Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people that produces the fruits of the kingdom.
When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they realized that he was speaking about them. They wanted to arrest him, but they feared the crowds, because they regarded him as a prophet.” Matthew 21:33-43, 45-46
