A Good Christian

What is and how to be: a good Christian

“All that the Father gives me will come to me, and anyone who comes to me I will never turn away.” John 6:38 (MOUNCE Reverse-Interlinear)

“WHAT” The triangle. The hierarchy. The structure. The purpose. The progress. The management speak and religion speak. The comparison. The scale. The counting. The fitting in. The fitting out. Who we should and who we should not. What we can and what we cannot. When we should and when we should not.
“HOW” How warm (or dry patch) are we. How busy are we. How much time have I given. What else is there to squeeze in. Am I making the right choices. Who else does the same things. Where do I sit. When do I stand. What what what what what …

All that the Father gives me will come to me
All who come to me I will never turn away

Forget being a Christian – good or bad.

The label is too small.
The question is another distraction.

Rather ask …
How to beloved and love all that the Father gives me?

And the answer …

  1. It sure is easy to complicate and over-think things. Love your simple yet eloquent thoughts! There is such freedom in “letting go” and simply loving God- and allowing Him to love through us!

  2. “Good Christian” is an oxymoron. I find that we can never be good enough. We CAN however, know that we are never good and need our Savior. I have been bad all morning but still have not been condemned for my un-Christian thinking. That is what makes me so thankful to God…His grace. xo
