I stand in awe of you – what if then …

Earlier today …

I am in awe of the relationship you have with my God.

What if …

That was the driving motivation in our relationships.
I looked at you – and saw inside the outside.
That was my first thought when we connected.
That is what being “in this world but not of this world” really means.

What if …

You are beautiful beyond description, too marvellous for words, too wonderful for comprehension.
Like nothing ever seen or heard, who can grasp Your infinite wisdom, who can fathom the depths of Your love?
You are beautiful beyond description
Majesty, enthroned above

And I stand, I stand in awe of You, I stand, I stand in awe of You
Holy God to whom all praise is due, I stand in awe of You

You are beautiful beyond description, too marvellous for words, too wonderful for comprehension
Like nothing ever seen or heard, who can grasp Your infinite wisdom, who can fathom the depths of Your love
You are beautiful beyond description
Majesty, enthroned above

And I stand, I stand in awe of You, I stand, I stand in awe of You
Holy God to whom all praise is due, I stand in awe of You
Yes, I stand in awe of You, I stand in awe of You

.

Imagine if that was the driving motivation in ALL our relationships.
Imagine looking at each other and seeing INSIDE the outside.
Imagine if that was our FIRST thought when we met.
Imagine if that is what unconditional LOVE really means.

Imagine that I, your Lord God (and all that)
Stand in awe of you!
What if … “ then?

And then “what if …”

You and me
(Without reference to Me)
Stand in awe …
Of each other …

What … if … “ then … ?

  1. Enjoy your post…Relationship with HIM is what spurs us to love one another… without looking at the faults, weaknesses and the scars sin and shame have inflicted on the inside and the outside! God does not look upon our past nor our present He sees us resurrected and made perfect! His love for me is not just overlooking my faults and weakness… but His love is so great he wants to undo the errors and teach me how to do it HIS way… the right way…His corrections are not hurtful… what is hurtful is doing the same thing for a lifetime and never producing a different result… the insanity of satan’s deception…
