Someone died today.
There are no news cameras, no headlines, no media scrum. Nothing like that.
Someone cried today.
There is only the weeping silence and an empty room. Nothing dramatic.
Someone I know
died today.
Someone I know
cried today.
Someone died today.
And all the debate about “God or no god”
All the “I am right and you are wrong”
And all the “can you really think there is more”
All the “dismissal and disgust” …
Is meaningless.
Someone I know
died today.
Someone I know
cried today.
And the weirdest thing of all?
Nothing changed at all.
Except me.
I changed.
And those who were connected.
They changed.
And all the debate about “God or no god”
All the “I am right and you are wrong”
And all the “can you really think there is more”
All the “dismissal and disgust” … is

And THAT is why it is meaningless.
The end.

When someone dies, suddenly, for a brief moment, life is put in perspective. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Much love, Julia
