: that being right was the be all and end all.
: that being right was not only my right – it was my duty.
: that my duty was to be right.
: that being right is finding the truth
: that the truth is being right

Just me being curious 
Paul I believe many christians are feeling that way. Always having to be correct. Now I just love the Lord where I am at and God is very pleased. This is all He requires of us. We do our best and God will be with us. You know God is eager to forgive and restore us from sin and our brokenness. Jesus made a way for us. Praise the Lord.
Deut. 10:12 “And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require from you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve the LORD your God with call your heart and with all your soul,
