Following a star

.

If I journey a journey planned and itemised I will leave point A and reach point B.
If I journey such a journey I must, of need, refuse distractions and delays.

If I journey a journey following a star I will leave point A and reach where it leads.
If I journey such a journey I must, of desire, accept distractions and delays.

.

If I journey a journey planned and itemised I will leave point A and reach point B.
If I journey such a journey I must, of need, know when I have arrived.

If I journey a journey following a star I will leave point A and reach where it leads.
If I journey such a journey I must, of choice, not know where and when if ever I arrive.

.

My journey has been both.
And now is one.

.

Which yours I wonder?

  1. Mine’s the second one. I make plans but don’t get too hung up on the distractions and delays, and they are often lead to things I would’ve never anticipated but benefited from greatly. Sometimes it’s just a train-wreck. 🙂
