Our two daughters, one son-in-law, and middle-grandchild came a “Ho Ho Ho”ing at 11.45pm last night.

Our Christmas Eve Eve selection box and hot chocolate ex-tradition was visited upon us!

Both of us were sound asleep!  My brain took quite a while to figure out what was happening!  And our dog (who is deaf) didn’t hear a thing – and only joined us all twenty minutes into the fun!

We were back in bed by 1.00am today (Christmas Eve), with our children having all left to their own houses/beds shortly before that.

This whole thing about the Christmas Story and a baby Jesus?  It’s lovely and all that.

But I like the bit where everyone grows up – now THAT is living!
