I recently made the comment that John’s gospel brings the Cosmic Christ to us in a Nativity beyond the Stars or does it? By this I infer that John’s Nativity Narrative takes us back to the beginning.

His opening verse echoes; Genesis 1.1 in that they both speak of the Beginning of SOMETHING.

In the beginning God Created the Heavens  and the  Earth  and In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God- Logos,( And the Word was God). For now, the Venn diagramme is in the Heavenlies.

Enter stage left- the never-ending circle, for God has no beginning nor end. I used to ponder this as I inscribed a circle, they always began somewhere, at the point where the pencil of my compass first touched my paper. I f God is eternal, it must be in a nonlinear something, whereas Christ, by his own admission, definitely has a beginning and an end. The Alef and Tau, Alpha and Omega the first and the last; now we say He is God but God with a difference. The finite One?

THERE WAS A TIME WHEN THE SON WAS NOT. (Arius-attributed to. Subsequent Arians refined this doctrine, attempting to distance themselves from him)

More worrying still is that;

THERE WAS A TIME WHEN THE FATHER WAS NOT?

Quite understandable when we consider that a man without a son is not a father. He himself was SON because he had a father, but was not SON before he was conceived.

Likewise, the son is not the same as his father, other than proceeding from A dyad of mother and father, and in this the son is only half his father.

And his mother was not so before she became conjoined with he who would be father, and Neither so, without an issue from their union.

If, then Jesus is co-eternal with the father, perhaps they are brothers, since two beings of the same age cannot be father and son, even if they are god/s. Apparently to get around this issue the Son is eternally begotten of the Father ergo both have been in the Parent and child relationship since the beginning of when? It is Mary I feel sorry for, as Mother of God she had endured an eternal pregnancy ever since before she existed to give birth to the finite one.

The  Spirit or Ruach Elohim

The Spirit of God is the person of God that vivifies the spirit of people to God (Ezek 37Rom 8:16) : when active among the people was known as the Shekhinah.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.( NASB+Strong’s Genesis 1-2)

So the Breath of God ( already named Holy Spirit by Trinitarians makes its first appearance here in the Beginning- of when, already known as the Life Giver- it continue to be active throughout the Scriptures.

Generally, the Jewish view is that “the spirit of God referred to in the Bible alludes to His energy (Isa 40:13Zech 4:6)., According to the Rabbis, although the “spirit of God” is of divine origin, this does not mean that there is a “Holy Spirit” as a divine person. On the contrary, the holy spirit is a mode of the one and only God’s self-expression in word and action. AND THIS WORD IS NOT LOGOS BUT DABAR – meaning word or talk. It is not the Word who was with God in the Beginning nor was it the third person of the Trinity

Everyone breathes and has a spirit, it is just that Gods breath, his spirit are expressions, exhalations of or from God and our spirit proceed from that Spirit and we are finite, though God’s puff is Great -from Holiness and our is weaker, especially when our lungs are compromised by sickness.

Trinity

I prefer Arius’ or the Arian concept because it is easier to understand.

In Christianity, Arianism is a Christological concept which asserts the belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who was begotten by God the Father at a point in time, is distinct from the Father and is therefore subordinate to the Father. Wikipedia

There is, therefore, God the siblings and the Wind, the modus operandi of the brothers in the world.
