1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. John1:1-3 (NIV)
I am God, there is no other, my words have been my comfort while nothing had I to love. My Words have sprung to life through the imaging of my Heart and all that comforted me is wonderfully good.
Who will dare to speak as God? I often muse upon the thoughts and actions of a God alone, whom no one and nothing would ever have known if they were not. Yet we exist and the wonder is that He first loved Us! 1 John 4:19 (NIV) He loved us so much that he gave his only son so that if we believe in him, we will not die but live forever. John 3:16 (NIV)
Yet Moses told Israel that their God was the one and only God, a peerless God Deuteronomy 6:4 (NIV) O.K so that just means what we know that there are no other gods except those we make in our own image. This does not say anything concerning the Nature of God, except that when God Is nothing was, not even another deity.
So, who or what is this ‘son’? Another god? This Son is the one through whom everything sprang who is in every living thing, who is in all and of all and Is, so we are here. This one is the Springtime of the Universes.
Pretty words born out of the desire to attempt to express or to understand God as a Monotheistic Unity without even a self to love, God’s Self is mystery, God’s Eternality is mystery. Nowhere does the Bible say that God does not have a son. God could hardly speak with a forked tongue. Pretty words in the attempt to gainsay the brain washed mind when all that is needed are ears to hear.
The Bible is clear, though sometimes we come to it with preconception, prejudice, our creeds often precede us and place a veil between ourselves and God like the old Veil in the Temple which was torn when this Son gave himself to death for those who believe. What had sprung to Life shrivelled?
We seek evidence for our beliefs and ignore what is spoken, interpret those words according to our preconceptions.
The one who sprung became apparent to us when he came to live among the Jews, this man walked alongside his brethren, this one is glorious who came from heaven, whom God called Son, who was grace and truth personified.
Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand! (Matthew 11:15 ALL)
